The world famous Police Eyewear collection was given birth to in 1983 by Italian manufacturer DeRigo Vision. It burst into prominence in the late 80's and 90's in America when it was initially distributed by Eastern States Eyewear from 1989 until 1997. After a hiatus, ESE renewed its relationship with the brand in 2003 and the collection has been growing ever since.

Well known for its daring Sunglasses Police features a wide array of fashion wrap models and masculine RXable styles. The collection is often augmented by such design features as Mirror and Polarized lenses, Swarovski Crystals, and Police’s signature “Gothic P” logo.

In the past 10 years, icons such as Bruce Willis, George Clooney, David Beckham, and Antonio Banderas have all endorsed the line. Distributed in approximately 100 countries around the world, Police has recently opened its first exclusive stores in Hong Kong, Indonesia, China, Romania, Serbia, and India.

Police has recently grown into a complete lifestyle brand becoming one of the first names in eyewear to grow in this regard. Presently, jewelry, leather goods, watches, and perfume are all sold under the Police name.
